  1. Beautiful photography ! You and Cliff do indeed visit unique places in nature. I am an 83-year old retired cattleman who chose the low key life close to nature. I have witnessed what I consider a form of insanity in the chase for the “almighty dollar” on the sidewalks of NYC, San Francisco, Chicago, even Albuquerque !!! I have lived between 7300′ and 8500′ in Catron County NM 25 years now, but doctors now say I must move down at least 3500 ft. because of unrelenting dizziness, so we’re planning a move to AZ foothills. It is a pleasure following your ventures, especially (from your photos) in areas where chemtrails seem to be absent ! Some world we live in today.

    1. Hello Frank,

Thank you for your nice comment. I hope you can find a great place to live at an elevation healthier for you.

Over the years, we have done a lot of camping throughout the western states and we especially like Arizona in the winter. We have had, at times, some really clear blue skies in New Mexico and Arizona, but more often than not, the sky is streaked or hazy with the trails. I do my best to take photos that show beautiful skies, so people seeing the photos will remember the natural beauty, now rare, that was once taken for granted.

      Wishing you the best,
      Carol
